You can be killed or seriously injured if you don’t follow instructions.
All safety messages will tell you what the potential hazard is, tell you how to reduce the chance of injury, and tell you what can happen if the
instructions are not followed.
Your safety and the safety of others are very important.
We have provided many important safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Always read and obey all safety messages.

Under certain condition s , hydrogen ga s may be produced in a
hot water s y s tem that ha s not been u s ed for two wee ks or
more. HYDRO G EN G A S I S EXPLO S IVE. If the hot water s y s tem
ha s not been u s ed for s uch a period, before u s ing the
di s hwa s her turn on all hot water faucet s and let the water flow
from each for s everal minute s . Thi s will relea s e any
accumulated hydrogen ga s . A s the ga s i s flammable, do not
s mo k e or u s e an open flame during thi s time.

Remove the door or lid to the wa s hing compartment
when removing an old di s hwa s her from s ervice or
di s carding it.
