OVEN BURNER IGNITOR

Refer to page 3-6 to access the oven burner
ignitor. To test the ignitor, perform the following
steps.

1.

Turn off the electrical power to the range.

2.

Disconnect the connector from the wiring
harness.

3.

Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.

4.

Touch the test leads to the connector pins.
At ambient temperature, the meter should
indicate less than 1

Ω

.

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect the electrical supply from the
unit before servicing.

Failure to do so could result in death or
electrical shock.
