Using
In order for the rechargeable battery to charge up sufficiently, the
product must be positioned in such a way that the solar panel will
be exposed to direct sunlight for as long as possible. Make sure
that the solar panel is not covered or in the shade. Do not posi-
tion the solar light under bushes, trees, porches etc., since these
would reduce the exposure to the sunlight. The solar panel would
then not be operating optimally, since the rechargeable battery
will not be charged sufficiently. For the solar panel to operate at
its best, the sun’s rays should hit it directly from above if possible.
The solar light should be positioned such that the solar panel is
exposed to sunlight for at least eight hours per day.
If the solar panel has been covered by a protective foil for
protection during transit, remove it.
When the ambient light is low, the LED light will switch on
automatically.
When the ambient light is sufficiently bright again, the LED light
will switch off automatically.
Using Solar Lamps
The performance of the solar lamp varies according to the
season, depending on the number of hours of sunlight and the
intensity of the sunlight reaching it.
In long periods of insufficient sunshine, the rechargeable battery
may not charge up sufficiently to allow the lamp to illuminate for a
longer length of time. The battery will then take in less energy
during the day than they expend at night. This inevitably results in
a reduction in the length of time that the light will work for.
Take care that the solar panel does not become dirty and that it is
kept free of snow and ice in winter. Otherwise, the performance
of the solar panel could be affected. Cold temperatures affect the
service life of the batteries adversely. If you do not require the
solar light for a longer period of time, for example in winter, you
