Using
7. Start the engine of the donor car and keep the engine
in idle running until the below mentioned charging
time is reached.
The needed charging times depend on the status of
the discharged car battery:
5 min The starter of the receptor car turns
slowly but the engine cannot start up.
10 min When starting the engine you hear
only a click sound of the ignition
magnetic switch.
15 min When turning the key you hear noth-
ing.
20 - 30 min The battery of the receptor car is
completely discharged, even the light
cannot be switched on.
8. After charging the battery, disconnect the jumper
quick start from both vehicles and start the engine of
the receptor car.
It is normal for the unit to get warm when in operation.
