These alarms represent situations where Optima is unable to communicate with the
RMM/RMC. Optima tries multiple times to connect with the RMM/RMC, make sure to confirm
the duration of the event using the Event View Duration column or by click on the information
icon
to verify the events alarm creation

On Optima right-click on the site’s Remote NE to open the NE Shortcut menu, left-click
on
View NE Details Connectivity
tab and confirm settings
i.
If settings are different than the above screen capture, enter the correct values
and click on the
Update
button
ii.
If the settings are correct as shown resubmit this page by changing the
SNMP
timeout
value to 5001, then click on the
Update
button
