5.3 Installation air cooled, built-in units (version LE)
Air-cooled, built-in type ice cube makers can be installed without taking into account the minimum distances.
However there should be distance to the wall from the back side of the machine in order to have enough space for
the connection tubes (see Fig. 5.3.a).
Before installation please hook in the enclosed lateral air-inlet grille (see Fig. 5.3.a) at the right machine side into
the designated holes from above downwards.
IMPORTANT:
When the device is pushed back in, the water drain tube may become bent or kinked, thus preventing
draining of the water. Please keep an eye on the tube during re-assembly.
Please connect the enclosed inlet hose (DN 8; ¾”–screwing) with the water inlet (2) and with the water tab
(cold water-/ fresh water inlet).
Make sure that the rubber sealing is well in place.
Please connect the enclosed outlet hose (DN 20) with the residual water outlet (3), then run the water drain
tube to the waste water system.
Ensure that the tube has a continuous gradient and no bends.
Without
adequate gradient of the drain tube, the storage container may overflow and cause water damage
IMPORTANT:
For hygienic reasons, the outlet hose must not be connected directly to the (4) waste water
system (see Fig. 5.3.b).
Insert the power plug (1) into the socket.
