9.7 Dual scanning area
The scanner can read small 2D codes as well as large 1D codes thanks to its dual scanning area. An image
will be captured of every area. First it will attempt to decode the image (at close or far range) that was succes-
fully decoded during the last cycle. If this fails, the next image will be decoded. Move the scanner closer if the
symbols are smaller and further away if they are larger.
