You will need:

A 10mm combination wrench or socket

An 8mm combination wrench or socket

Needle-nose pliers

ENSURE THAT THE ENGINE IS OFF AND HAS HAD SUFFICIENT TIME TO COOL BEFORE
BEGINNING ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR WORK. FOLLOW ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES LISTED
IN YOUR OWNER’S MANUAL. USE COMMON SENSE. AVOID INJURY.
REMOVING THE OLD PUMP
1. Before beginning, complete the following steps:
1. Drain the engine of oil as instructed in your owner’s manual.
2. Drain the carburetor as instructed in your owner’s manual.
3. Relieve any pressure in the system by squeezing the gun trigger.
4. Disconnect the water supply and the high-pressure hose from the pump.
5. Drain the detergent tank if there is any detergent in the tank.
2. Place the pressure washer on a level surface.
3. Disconnect the hoses from the detergent tank and the pump as shown in Figures 1 – 2 below.
