Welcare Ear Thermometer
Probe Cover Detection
and Eject Function
The thermometer can be used with or without a
probe cover, however for hygiene purposes it is
recommended to use a probe cover in ear mode.
To ensure accurate readings, make sure a new, clean probe
cover is in place before each measurement.
Place a new probe cover over the probe firmly; making
sure the probe and the inner portion of the probe cover fits
securely, and the probe is covering the connection ring and
“
RED
” Micro Switch. (see below illustration).
When the probe cover is
installed correctly the
icon will appear on the
LCD screen.
To release the probe cover,
gently press the
Probe Eject Button.
