10.2 Drilling a hole in the connecting bracket
Requirements for the connecting bracket
This hood can only be used if the connecting bracket for the combi oven is set up correctly.
On the connecting bracket on the rear of the appliance, check whether there are three pre-perforated
holes. If not, you will have to drill the holes.
Tools required

Measuring tape
■
Centre punch
■
Electric drill
■
Hole cutter (Ø4 mm, 22 mm)
■
Phillips screwdriver
■
8 mm socket wrench
Requirements
Check that the following requirements have been met:
■
The combi oven has been disconnected from the power supply.
■
The combi oven has been disconnected from the water supply.
■
The appliance is cool.
Drilling a hole in the connecting bracket
1.
Remove the rear panel from the combi oven.
2.
Remove the left water connection using a Phillips screw‐
driver.
Position the water connection so that it is out of the way
during subsequent steps.
3.
Mark the position of the holes on the outside of the con‐
necting bracket.
