4.9 Connecting the hood
Requirements
Check that the following requirements have been met:

The combi oven is disconnected from the power supply and secured against the power being
switched on again.
■
Make sure that the appliance is de-energized.
■
Make sure the bottom unit of the hood has been fixed to the combi oven according to 'Fitting the

Remove the cover of the hood’s electrical box.
To do so, unscrew both screws and lift off the cover of
the electrical box. Make sure that the earth wire does
not become loose as you do so.

Thread the control cable (connector side) with the open
end through the right cable gland and connect it accord‐
ing to the circuit diagram.

Thread the power supply cord through the left cable
gland and connect it according to the circuit diagram.
Then tighten both cable glands firmly.
4.
Fit the cover of the electrical box again.
To do so, put the cover of the electrical box in place and
screw it down again with the two screws. Make sure that
the connection of the earth cable to the housing is in
proper order and tight.
5.
Plug the control cable connector into the socket in the
connecting bracket for the combi oven.
If the control cable is too long (depending on appliance
size), loop it so that it does not get in the way.
