4.6  Connecting the control cable to the appliance

Requirements

Check that the following requirements have been met:

■

The technical requirements for the combi oven are fulfilled, see 'Requirements relating to the con‐

figuration of the combi oven' on page 34

■

The combi oven is disconnected from the power supply and secured against the power being

switched on again.

■

Make sure that the appliance is de-energized.

Connecting the control cable to the appliance

1.

Remove the top box of the combi oven – see the de‐

tailed instructions in the mini service manual.

2.

Remove the rear panel from the combi oven.

3.

Remove the connecting bracket for the combi oven and

swing it outwards.

All connections on the connecting bracket can remain

attached.

4.

Remove the inner adhesive aluminium film from the con‐

necting bracket.

Use a screwdriver to break out the round hole for the

control cable (socket side) on the connecting bracket.

5.

Thread the open end of the control cable (socket side)

from outside through the hole in the connecting bracket

and attach the socket to the connecting bracket using

the M3 screws and nuts (2x).
