Mounting
Insert DMA 14 through cutout. Fit the two screwāĆāclamps supplied to the countersunk screws located at
both sides of the meter and tighten the screwāĆāspindles.
Connection
Caution
All connection leadsshall be voltageāĆāfree prior to connecting the meter.
Verify input configuration and auxiliary supply (see type label on the meter).
Note
To avoid measuring errors by interference voltages, or when measuring low Amps or Volts
( 2 mA, 2 V), use screened or twisted leads positioned away from mains power line or if
strong interference sources are straying.

Connect the DMA 14 following the pin assignment on the meter label.
Operation
Initial SetāĆāup
Caution
Verify meter connectionsbefore applying power to the meter. Adjust an activated meter by
meansof an
isolated screw driver
only.
Calibration
All metersare factory calibrated; normally an additional adjustment will not be required.
(Factory adjustment can be done if ratings are specified with the order, e.g. input signal 4 ... 20 mA,
display 0 ... 150°C)
Zero Point Adjustment
ShortāĆācircuit measuring input and set display to desired value by trimpot provided for zero point adĆ
justment.
4 ... 20 mA Input: Apply 4 mAĂinputĂsignal and set initial indication value to desired value by trimpot
provided for zero point adjustment.
Adjustment of End Value
Apply measuring signal for the end value (e.g. 10 V DC) and set display to desired value by coarse and
fine adjust potentiometers.
