Number of crimps

The minimum number of crimps necessary for processing cable lugs and connectors is 

listed below. 
The crimping instructions are valid only for stranded and multi-core cables. 
If solid conductors are to be processed, please consult Weidmüller Interface GmbH & 

Co. KG in advance. 
If only one crimp is required, it should be positioned centrally on the cable lug / connec-

tor sleeve. Several crimps should be evenly distributed. When processing DIN cable 

lugs / connectors, position the crimps on the crimp marks provided. The code number 

on the cable lug / connector must be identical to the code number on the crimping die.
