Replacement of front seal (Pos� 7)
Î
Position the WEH
®
Connector
vertically and flip the
actuation over so that the
adapter is ready for
connection.
Î
Insert a suitable repair tool
behind the front seal (Pos. 7)
with the
WEH
®
O-ring picker,
part No. E98-101969 , and
remove it from the recess.
Caution:
Make sure not to
damage the surface of the
front seal recess when
removing the old front seal.
Î
Insert the new front seal
(Pos. 7) into the thoroughly
cleaned recess. Make sure
that the front seal is not
twisted and is properly
seated in the recess.
Caution:
The front seal may
not be lubricated.
Caution:
Do not use any
sharp tools while assembling.
Doing so may damage the
front seal.
Î
Check the tightening torque of the adjustment screw (Pos. 4) on the connector
housing (Pos. 3). Tightening torque 20 Nm.
Î
Check the connector for leak tightness before use. Please note
