Thank you for purchasing a new Webasto original accessory.
This product provides you with a comfortable and innovative operating option for your
Webasto auxiliary heating. This operating manual supplements the information you
received from the Webasto workshop or service station and covers all the functions of the
Thermo Call TC2.
With the Thermo Call TC2 CONNECT you can use SMS (Short Message Service) for
remote control of your Webasto auxiliary heating system. All mobile phones which permit
the sending of SMS texts are suitable for use as control units. You can not only switch on
your Webasto auxiliary heating system but you can also program the operating time
according to your requirements.
NOTES:
• Always observe the general operating manual for the Webasto auxiliary heating
and the location of your vehicle before activating the TC2 CONNECT.
• In heating mode, the heating must be set to "warm" before the vehicle is left.
The vehicle blower must be set to heating mode (for a 3-level blower on the 1st level
and for a 4-level blower on the 2nd level).
Set it to at least 1/3 of the maximum on infinitely variable blowers,
• We recommend setting the heating time to correspond with the travelling time for
Thermo Top E/C and Therma Top P heating devices in order to prevent the battery
discharging. For a travel time of approx. 30 minutes (one way), we recommend to
set the operating period to 30 minutes.
It is possible to program the operating period up to 120 minutes on air heaters and
truck or bus water heaters.
Thermo Call TC2 is factory set to a 30 minute period of heating.
