Command bar
The Command bar gives you a quick and direct access
to frequently used functions, regardless of the specific
type of task.
Freeze
You can freeze the A-scan, for example for measure-
ments on hot test objects, for measurements in difficult
coupling conditions, or for spot weld testing.
When the A-scan is frozen, the icon is colored and a cor-
responding status indicator is displayed above the A-
scan (see page 18).
You can define the Freeze Mode (see page 127).
AutoXX
You can automatically set the first echo in gate A to a
certain screen height. This function is useful, for exam-
ple, when recording DAC curve points.
You can define the screen height (default = 80%) for the
echo amplitude (
Auto XX Amplitude , see page 124).
Calibrate
During calibration or setup of DAC curves this function
is used to record the reference echoes from the calibra-
tion block.
