trueDGS angle probes

trueDGS

®

 angle probes generate a rotationally sym-

metric sound field in the material to be tested like verti-
cally beaming circular elements.

Because of this, the DGS evaluation using these angle-
beam probes is considerably more accurate than with 
the conventional angle-beam probes which contain rect-
angular elements. In the case of conventional angle-
beam probes, it may happen that the reflectors evaluat-
ed according to the DGS method are over-evaluated.
