Lift and Lower the Clincher Frame

When to do

If a machine error occurs, or for maintenance.
• To clear a paper jam in the stitch area
• To unlock the PowerSquare main deck   

Lift the Clincher Frame

1. Open the folder cover.
2. Turn the locking handle to the left  , until the thread is disengaged.
3. Lift the clincher frame to the vertical position.

Lower the Clincher Frame

1. Lower the clincher frame.
2. Turn the locking handle to the right  , until the handle is tight. 
3. Check that the locking handle will not be hit by the folder cover when you 

close the folder cover.  The locking handle should point towards the middle 
of the machine. If necessary, lift and rotate the locking-handle to a new posi-
tion.

4. Close the folder cover.
