Cleaning the instrument case
Use a soft cloth, dampened with water, to clean the outside surfaces of the
mass spectrometer.
Emptying the nitrogen exhaust trap bottle
Inspect the nitrogen exhaust trap bottle in the instrument’s exhaust line,
daily and empty it before it is more than approximately 10% full.

Caution:
Do not use abrasives or solvents to clean the instrument’s
case.
