Understanding the 4RE System
VISTA WiFi camera
As part of the recording group network, the VISTA WiFi camera:
l
Communicates with the local recording group.
l
Initiates group recordings
VISTA WiFi camera notifies other group members that it has started a recording. The other
group members can join the group recording by starting their own recorded events.
l
Responds to group recording starts or stops by other group members
The VISTA WiFi camera can start or stop its own recording event manually, if configured to do
so.
Multiple VISTA WiFi cameras can belong to a recording group.
VISTA WiFi cameras can also provide a wireless hotspot for the VISTA SmartConnect smart
phone application.
