How to change the Swap Bay Fan on the Watcher XL Plus System

Tools Needed: Phillips screwdriver, (Optional: Cutters, Zip Tie)
*Note, the picture used is a generic NVR. The internals of most modern XL+ NVRs will look
similar, but may have a different hard drive configuration, motherboard, or colored cables. The
internals we are working with in the guide should always be similar.
1. Power down NVR.
2. Remove side panel by removing the four screws around the panel holding it in.
3. Remove cross brace bar, one Philips screw holds it in near top.
4. Start by removing the fan cable highlighted in blue.
5. The fan that is framed in red is the fan we are replacing.
6. Push in from the left side and pull the fan towards your body. It should release without
any force.
