General information
Regarding the following instruction manual
These instructions describe the operation of correctly
installed black-out blinds of type VDA 13 in the following
versions:
–
Crank handle operated
– Motor operated
Other versions or alternative solutions are not dealt with in
these instructions.
These instructions also do not cover the following parts and
accessories. Instead, you will be referred to the respective
instruction manuals.
–
Black-out blinds type VDA 13 with emergency open
feature
– Black-out blinds type VDA 13, electrically operated via
external control devices (Wisotronic, Quatronic.net,
LONWORKS
®
Control, remote controls).
This brochure is an integral part of the product and therefore
should
–
always be kept in a safe place until the product is disposed of.
– be included with the product when it is sold.
In order to provide a clear overview, not all details, installation
options and operating methods can be covered here for all
versions of your specific black-out blinds. If you need further
information, please contact your dealer (address on the last
page) or WAREMA.

blinds, adhere to the operating steps and keep in mind the
helpful hints and recommendations.
In addition to the information regarding operation of the
blinds, these instructions also contain important maintenance
and care tips.
The black-out blinds were developed, manufactured, tested
and documented according to relevant safety standards.
When used properly, they do not represent a danger or risk to
people or objects.
Familiarity with the applicable safety instructions and
warnings and their technically correct implementation is a
prerequisite for the safe operation of the product. Therefore,
please read these instructions, paying particular attention to
the safety information. It must be understood and adhered to.

installed
by qualified
professionals. The steps required for installation are
summarised in separate installation instructions.
