6.4.2 Cleaning of the firebox
Cleaning or removing ash from the firebox should be done as necessary, as the charcoal
remaining on the surface helps the subsequent ignition to reach the gasification
temperature sooner. This can be done with the help of a comb and a dustbin made of
flame-retardant material.

Be careful not to touch the
heated surfaces of the
boiler - risk of burns.

Only dispose of ash in a
flameproof container with
a flameproof tool.
