2.6 Safe Condition

References are made to

safe condition

throughout this manual.

What this means is, parking the equipment in a manner that
makes it safe to load, service, maintain, or store.

Complete the following to place the equipment in a
Safe Condition before loading, performing any service,
maintenance work, or storage preparation:

1.

Stop the tractor.

2.

Set the parking brake.

3.

Lower the skidding plate to the ground.

4.

Turn the tractor engine off.

5.

Remove the ignition key and keep it with you.

6.

Block the tractor wheels.

7.

Make sure that all motion is stopped.
