General safety instructions
Read and observe all safety instructions and store
them in a safe place!
Intended use
·
Only use hair clippers to cut human hair, beard hair and
eyebrows.
·
Only use pet clippers to trim animal hair and animal fur. The
appliance is intended for trimming purposes only.
·
This appliance is designed for commercial use.
User requirements

Read the operating manual in full and familiarise yourself with
it before the first use.
·
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

Only for European markets:
This appliance can be used both by children from 14 years
of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must never be carried out by children,
unless they are supervised.

Keep the appliance out of reach of animals and protected
against the effects of the weather.

Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance/
plug-in transformer.
f Do not use the appliance if it is not working cor-
rectly, if it is damaged or if it has fallen into water.

Never use the appliance if the mains cable or plug-in
transformer is damaged.
f In order to avoid hazards, repairs may only be per-
formed at an authorised service centre or by special-
ists properly trained in the handling of electrotechni-
cal appliances, and using original spare parts.
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of liquid.

Always position or store electrical equipment where
it cannot fall into water (e.g. washbasin). Keep the
appliance away from water and other liquids.

Never touch electrical equipment that has fallen into
water or reach into water to retrieve it. Disconnect
from the mains immediately. Have the appliance
inspected at a service centre before using it again.

f Only use and store the appliance in dry rooms.

f Do not attempt to replace the battery cells. Lithium
ion batteries may explode, catch fire and/or cause
burns if they are dismantled, damaged or exposed to
moisture and/or high temperatures.
f Only use original battery packs that are available
from your dealer or from our service centre as
accessories

Do not expose the appliance to temperatures above
+40°C for any length of time. Avoid direct exposure
to sunlight.

Never use the product in an environment with a high
concentration of aerosol (spray) products or in which
oxygen is released.
Danger! Flammable!

The appliance must never be sprayed with aerosol
(spray) products classified as flammable.
Warning! Injuries caused by overheating of blade
sets.
f The blade set can heat up if the appliance is used
over a prolonged period. Take regular breaks when
using the appliance so that the blade set can cool
down.

Never use the appliance if the blade set is damaged.

Always switch the appliance off before storage, as
the appliance can fall down due to the vibrations.

Only use the plug-in transformer that is included
in the scope of supply for charging the appliance.

f Never insert or allow objects to fall into the open-
ings of the appliance.

Do not carry the appliance by the mains cable and,
when disconnecting the appliance from the mains,
always pull the plug rather than the cable or the
appliance.
f
Keep the mains cable and appliance away from hot
surfaces.
f Make sure that the mains cable is not twisted or
kinked when charging or storing.
