and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand

WHERE TO BEGIN
Begin by bathing your animal. Dirt or sand particles in an animal’s coat
will quickly dull trimmer blades. Rinse well and allow the coat to dry
completely. Comb through the coat to remove any tangles and make
trimming as easy as possible. This unit is intended for trimming and
touch-ups on face, ears and paws.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
· Slide open the battery cover (Fig. 1a) to reveal the battery
compartment below.
· Insert the battery with the minus (–) pole pointing in the direction of
the arrow (Fig. 1).
· Slide the cover back over the battery compartment (Fig. 1b).
· Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 2a) and, after
use, switch it off again (Fig. 2b).
CUTTING WITH ATTACHMENT COMBS
Depending on the model, various attachment combs are included in
the scope of supply: attachment combs with 3 mm and 5 mm cutting
length as well as an adjustable attachment comb with 6 settings
ATTACHING / REMOVING THE ATTACHMENT COMB
· Place the attachment comb on the cutting edge of the blade set and
press it down until it clicks into position (Fig. 3a).
· The attachment comb can be removed by lifting the hook in the
direction of the arrow (Fig. 3b).
CLEANING AND CARE
· Do not immerse the appliance in water!
· After each use, remove the hair clippings from the blade set with the
cleaning brush.
· Only wipe the appliance with a soft cloth, which may be dampened
slightly.
Do not use solvents or abrasives!
· For a long-lasting, good cutting performance, it is important to oil the
blade set frequently (Fig. 4).
OILING BLADES
For best results, put a drop of Wahl Clipper Oil on the blades only
when necessary, or approximately once a month. Motor bearings are
permanently lubricated — do not attempt to oil. Store oil packet in
upright position.
NOTICE-DO NOT OVER OIL! This trimmer requires very little oiling.
When necessary to oil, turn the shaver “ON,” hold the unit with the
blades facing DOWN and squeeze one drop of oil onto the blades.
Wipe off excess liquid/oil with soft cloth. Excessive oiling or application
of liquids will cause damage if allowed to seep back into motor while in
storage base
CLIPPER OIL - DANGER:
Contains petroleum distillate. May be
harmful or fatal if swallowed. Call physician immediately. Keep out of
reach of children.
DISPOSAL
Please dispose of the appliance at the end of its service life in an
environmentally friendly manner.
