Scope
WAGO-I/O-IPC
1.5 Scope
This document describes a software update or reconfiguration of the WAGO-
I/O-IPC 758-870/xxx.
The installation is basically performed using a custom boot capable CF card
providing all required data.
Each individual components will be presented and briefly described in the
relevant sections. Furthermore, the creation of a small operational system and
its transfer to the WAGO-I/O-IPC will be shown. Using this system, the target
system will then be able to boot on its own.
The update can also be performed using an existing network connection. In
this case, the required files will be copied to the device to be updated.
The electrical start up of the WAGO I/O-IPC 758-870/xxx and other further
details are not part of this document and will be described in the
corresponding manuals.
Therefore, this document is only valid in relation to the relevant manuals.
