The I/O module provides the fieldbus coupler/controller with 2 bytes for the input
and output process image via one logical channel.
The signal status of PTC inputs 1T … 8T (DI1 … DI8) is transmitted to the
fieldbus coupler/controller via input data byte D0.
The fault condition is transmitted via input data byte D1.
The diagnostic status is transmitted to the I/O module via output data byte D1.
Output data byte D0 is reserved and always has the value “0”.
