The equipment's output is electronically protected from overload and short
circuits.

cyclical re-activation of the output voltage (Hiccup mode, see Chapter “Device
Description” >> “Output”).
After eliminating the overload or short circuit, the device automatically supplies
the output voltage as indicated.
