5.3.3 SMI Commands
The following SMI commands can be set via the process image.

0x0000 REQ_NULL Resets the process data field to send a
command again;
no response from the SMI master module
0x0001 REQ_STEP_UP Command to the SMI drive to move 1
step upwards
0x0002 REQ_STEP_DOWN Command to the SMI drive to move 1
step downwards
0x0003 REQ_MOVE_UP Command to the SMI drive to move to
the top
0x0004 REQ_MOVE_DOWN Command to the SMI drive to move to
the bottom
0x0005 REQ_STOP Command to the SMI drive to stop
0x0006 REQ_POSITIONING Starts positioning with the values
transferred from the process image (bytes
10 and 11)
0x0007 REQ_POSITION_1 Command to the SMI drive to move to
position 1
0x0008 REQ_POSITION_2 Command to the SMI drive to move to
position 2
0x0009 REQ_AUTO_ADDRES
