Device Description

The

Bluetooth

Adapter (750-921) is a serial

Bluetooth

adapter. As a wireless

serial adapter (WSA), the device establishes a wireless connection between

WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Fieldbus Couplers/Programmable Logic Controllers

(PLCs) or 857 Series Transducers and external

Bluetooth

devices (e.g., tablet

PCs, smartphones or standard PCs with a

Bluetooth

interface).

As a cable replacement, the WSA simplifies communication with WAGO

software (WAGO-I/O-

CHECK

, WAGO-I/O-

PRO

, etc.).

The WSA is plugged into the service interface of the fieldbus coupler/WAGO

PLC or transducer for the entire configuration period. The WSA is powered by the

service interface, i.e., via the power supply of the fieldbus coupler/WAGO PLC or

transducer.

If required, the adapter may be configured via AT commands.

A blue LED indicates the WSA's operating and connection status.

A label with item and serial number is mounted on the back of the WSA.
