2.1.1.2 Description 

The digital input module 750-428 reads AC/DC 42 V values from digital field 
devices (sensors, switches, etc.) using the differential inputs, and transmits, 
depending on these values, binary control signals to the higher ranking 
controls via the fieldbus coupler/controller. 

The module is a 2-conductor device and has 4 input channels. Four sensors 
may be directly connected to the module. 
As an example, four 2-conductor sensors can be directly connected using 
connection signal input DI1 and DI1 or DI2 and DI2, DI3 and DI3 or DI4 and 
DI4.  

Each input module has an RC noise rejection filter with a time constant of 
20 ms.  

All inputs are isolated. 

The status of the four input channels is indicated via status LEDs.
