2.1.1.2 Description
The digital input module 750-405 receives control signals from digital field
devices (sensors, switches, etc.).
The module is a 2- to 4-conductor device and has two input channels. Two
sensors may be directly connected to the module.
Two 4-conductor sensors with ground (earth) wire may be directly connected
to 230 V, N, PE (earth potential) and signal input DI 1 or signal input DI 2.
Each input module has an RC noise rejection filter with a time constant of
10 ms.
The status of the input channels is indicated via status LEDs.
An optocoupler is used for electrical isolation between the bus and the field
side.
Any configuration of the input modules is possible when designing the
fieldbus node. Grouping of module types is not necessary.
