Darts
1 Insert the standard presser foot. Sew a
few stitches in reverse in the beginning
(reverse stitch button). Then, sew the
dart along the marked line from the wide
end to the tip without distorting the
fabric.
1 Tacking
2 Do not sew in reverse at the end of the
seam. Cut the threads so that the thread
ends have a length of 50 mm and tie the
ends together in a knot.
3 Using a needle, pull the ends of the
thread into the dart.
4 Iron the dart to one side so that it lies
flat.
