Work Positioning Belt should be the Personal property of its user.
It should not be used in highly acid or basic environments.
Protect the work positioning belt from mechanical hazards like sharp edges, tools, exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet degradation both during usage,
transportation and storage.
Do not use the work positioning belt for fall arrest. It is to be used only for work positioning.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
The work positioning belt, is a simple padded support belt with two lateral D-Rings (drop forged) to be used as an attachment element for work positioning.
The comfortable back support provides excellent ergonomic support for the back. The waist belt made up of
webbing (44mm width) is attached in such a manner

that it can freely slide on the back support, thereby making the belt fit to persons of all sizes. The back support is also provided with tool holding webbing loops and tool bag
holding rings. (See figure below).
The work positioning belt is to be used only for positioning and not for fall arrest purpose. It can be used as a purpose. Itcan be used as a part of a work positioning system
consisting of work positioning lanyards with adjusters. It's major application is for those who have to work at heights in a safe supported position. The work positioning belt
should be positioned at or above saist level.
HOW TO USE THE WORK POSITIONING BELT :
Step 1:
To achieve perfect fit of the work positioning belt, slide the waist belt by pulling from any side so that, the adjustable buckle would lie in the centre of your stomach (Fig. 2
below shows tow arrows along which, the waist belt can be pulled out from the comfort pad to adjust as per the size of the wearer)
Step 2:
Place the work positioning belt around your waist with the comfort pad at the back and D-Rings at the two sides as shown Fig. 3

Close the adjustable buckle as shown in Fig. 4.

It is essential need to regularly check fastening and/or adjustment element during use.
The user should be against the work an instruction to position and/or adjust the work positioning lanyard in such a way that the anchorage point is maintained at or above waist
level; the lanyard is kept taut; and, free movement is restricted to a maximum of 0.6m;
The equipment shall not be used outside its limitations, or for any purpose other than that for which it is intended;

The strength of the anchor device should conform according to EN 795 Type B (minimum strength 12 kN).
Ensure the compliance with recommendations for use as applicable to the combination with other components of the fall arrest system, and specified on the identification card
for the fall arrest system or component concerned.
A rescue plan needs to be envolved, before the product is to be used.
Also note that a full body harness is the only acceptable body holding device that can be used in a fall arrest system.
WARNING
1.
In case of any doubt arising about the safety of the work positioning belt, it should be replaced immediately on consultation with an expert.

Withdraw from use any work positioning belt that was subjected to a fall from a height.
3.
No alteration or additions are to be made to the equipment without the manufacturers prior written consent and that any repair shall only be carried out in accordance with manufacturer's
procedure.
