TURBO BOOST FEATURE
This product is equipped with a turbo boost button. When activated,
this will provide 15% more cutting power. This is especially useful
for cutting through thicker hair.
TAPER CONTROL
• The taper control with 3-position switch (on the rear of the handle)
enables fi ne cut adjustment for precision trimming.
• The taper control eliminates the need in some situations for an
attachment comb because it lets you gradually adjust the closeness
of the cut.
1. To increase the cutting length, push the switch down.
2. To reduce the cutting length, push the switch up.
NOTE:
The taper control function can only be used with the Precision
Trimmer and Body Groomer heads.
BEST CUTTING PERFORMANCE
1. Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of
damage. Do not use if damaged.
2. Ensure the heads are free from hair etc (refer to Cleaning &
Maintenance section for further information).
3. Ensure the trimmer is suffi ciently charged.
4. Use on clean, dry hair that has been combed until tangle-free.
TRIMMING
To trim:
1. Attach a comb guide as required. If using more than one cutting
length, start with the longest length fi rst.
2. Adjust the taper control as required.
3. Switch the trimmer on.
4. Hold the trimmer with the teeth of the trimmer pointing upwards,
yet fl at against the skin.
5. Move the trimmer upward and outward through the hair, against
the direction of hair growth.
6. The trimmer will work most effi ciently when cutting through hair
at its own speed. Never force the trimmer.
