32 Operation
4.2.2 SPOT cleaning mode
FUNCTION
The
SPOT
cleaning mode is suitable for cleaning a smaller area. Set the Kobold
VR300 Robot Vacuum Cleaner down with the bumper facing forward in front of
the area you want to clean. The robot vacuum cleaner moves in straight, parallel
lines and cleans an area of approx. 2 x 2 m. When it has finished cleaning the
area, it returns to the starting point. If the base station is within range (less than
0.2 m away from the area being cleaned), the robot vacuum cleaner will go di-
rectly there.
SWITCHING TO SPOT CLEANING MODE
You can switch to SPOT cleaning mode from another setting using the operator
panel as follows:
• Press the
function key
2
until the
SPOT indicator
1 lights up.
You are now in the SPOT cleaning mode.
• Now press the start button to start the cleaning process.
The robot vacuum cleaner starts operating in SPOT cleaning mode .
