Add Engine Oil
NOTICE - IMPORTANT: Any attempt to crank or start the engine before it has been properly serviced
with the recommended oil may result in an engine failure.
Note: Replace red shipping oil plug with yellow and black vented cap provided.
• For best results, use only the high quality oil recommended in the Honda engine Owner’s Manual
or the oil that is included with this unit
• Note: some Vortexx Pressure Washer Models are drained of oil for shipping purposes, always check
your oil dipstick before attempting to start your pressure washer
• Place the pressure washer on a level surface
• Fill engine with oil if needed, as described in the engine owner’s manual that is included in this
package
NOTE: Check oil often during initial operation, as explained in the engine owner’s manual.
Add Gasoline
WARNING! NEVER fill fuel tank indoors. NEVER fill fuel tank when engine is running or hot. Allow
unit to cool for 5 minutes before refueling. DO NOT light a cigarette or smoke while filling the fuel tank.
WARNING! DO NOT overfill the fuel and allow room for fuel expansion.
CAUTION! Use regular UNLEADED gasoline with the pressure washer engine. DO NOT use alcohol-
blended fuels. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline.
• Clean area around fuel fill cap, remove cap. Slowly add “UNLEADED” regular gasoline to fuel tank.
• Use a funnel to prevent spillage. Slowly fill tank to about 1.5” below the top of the fill hole
• Replace fuel cap and wipe up any spilled gasoline
• Do not store fuel or clean-up rags in closed space
CAUTION! NEVER use engine or carburetor cleaner products in the fuel tank or permanent damage
may occur.
IMPORTANT: Read entire owner’s manual before you attempt to operate your new pressure washer.
