Alarm handling display
If a fault occur, the acoustic alarm will sound and one
of the warning display lamps will immediately start to
flash to indicate the cause of the alarm:
1 Shutdown High coolant temp or Low water level.
2 Shutdown Low oil pressure.
3 Alarm Alternator not charging.
NOTICE!
Overspeed shutdown is indicated as follows:
Engine with alternator – lamps 2 and 3 will flash
Engine without alternator – lamp 2 will flash
After an alarm
Acknowledge
Push the acknowledge button to terminate the acoustic
alarm. The corresponding warning lamp will continue
to flash until the fault has been rectified.
Reset
To reset the shutdown the starter key must be turned
to the ”0”-position.
IMPORTANT!
Do not attempt to restart the engine until the fault has
been rectified.
Alarm test
When pushing the “Alarm test” button, the warning
lamps will lit up and the acoustic alarm will sound.
Always perform an alarm test before starting.
