Trip Data Menu

The Trip Data menu consists of several submenus that display information about trip status, such as fuel usage,
trip time, trip distance, and so on.

You may reset trip data by pressing and holding down the right arrow button for approximately three seconds while
you are in any of the following trip data submenu screens. You may return to the Main Menu at any time by press-
ing the left arrow button.

NOTE!

Resetting trip data in one trip data submenu resets

ALL

trip data submenus simultaneously. When trip

data is reset, it may take a brief moment for values to zero out. Also, you will hear a beep from the buzzer.

For additional information on resetting trip data, please refer to "Settings, Trip Data (Reset)".

Avg. Fuel Rate (Trip Reset)

The Average Fuel Rate screen displays the amount of
fuel being consumed over a given period of time. The
average fuel rate is based on

estimated

 instant fuel

rate reported by the engine, calculated and averaged
out since the last time that the trip data was reset.

For example, if you reset the display, the first reading
will be the last instant fuel rate reported by the engine.
Assuming you maintain speed, this value will remain
constant. If you vary the boat’s speed, over time, the
fuel rate will increase or decrease to reflect the chang-
ing rate of fuel consumption.

Average fuel rate is displayed as either liters per hour
(L/H) or gallons per hour (G/H), depending on the units
selected in the Settings Menu (Metric or English).

Available Button Selections:

Avg. Fuel Economy (Trip Reset)

The Average Fuel Economy screen displays the

esti-

mated

average distance travelled per gallon of fuel

consumed.

If the display is reset it will show the same value as In-
stant Fuel Economy for 5 minutes. After that a calcu-
lated value of Average Fuel Economy will show.  As
you travel, the distance is divided by the amount of
fuel consumed and this value is displayed. This value
is constantly calculated, averaged,  and the new value
displayed.

The average fuel economy may be displayed as either
liter per kilometers (L/KM), liter per nautical miles
(L/NM), gallon per nautical miles (G/NM) or gallon per
statute miles  (G/MP), depending on the units selected in
the Settings Menu (Metric or English, Nautical or Statute).
