• Do not use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation that forms can ruin the product under certain
circumstances.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around. It may become a dan-
gerous plaything for children.
• If you are not sure about the correct operation or if questions arise which are not
covered by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our techni-
cal support or another specialist.
NOTES ON RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
• The rechargeable battery is permanently installed in the housing of the power
bank and cannot be replaced.
• Never throw the device into a fire. There is danger of fire or explosion due to the
rechargeable batteries!
• Recharge the power bank regularly even if it is not used (approximately every 3
months). Otherwise, it may result in a deep discharge of the battery, thus making
it permanently unusable.
No initial discharge is required before charging due to the rechargeable battery
technology used.
• Put the device on a heat-resistant surface when charging. A slight warming dur-
ing the charging process is normal.
• If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged batteries, you may suffer
burns. For this reason you should use suitable protective gloves in this case.
• Liquids leaking from rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive.
Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids might be considerably
damaged.
COMMISSIONING
Recharge the built-in rechargeable battery completely before each use.
Make sure that the power rating of your mobile device matches that of the device
(see “Technical Data” chapter).
Always read the operating instructions of your mobile device.
Do not short circuit the USB input/output of the power bank.
a) Checking the charge status of the built-in rechargeable battery
Press the control key on the power bank briefly to check the charge status of the built-in
rechargeable battery. 4 blue LEDs on the power bank indicate the charge status (1 LED on =
25%, 2 LEDs = 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%).
The power bank will turn off and the blue LEDs will go dark after a few seconds, if no
USB device is connected.
b) Charging the built-in rechargeable battery
• Unplug the device which is connected to the power bank’s charging output first.
It is not possible to simultaneously use the charging output and recharge the power
bank.
• Connect the micro USB socket to an appropriate USB power supply using the USB cable
supplied. It must be able to supply a current of at least 2 A.
Using a USB power supply with a lower output current may lead to damage by
overload!
Also do not ever connect the power bank to a USB port on a computer or USB hub,
unless equipped with a special charging port and able to supply a minimum output
current of 2 A.
• The LEDs indicate the process while charging.
• The charging time depends on the charge status of the battery and may last for several
hours (for charging time of a fully discharged battery, see chapter “Technical data”).
• Once the built-in rechargeable battery is fully charged, disconnect the power bank from the
voltage/ current supply. The power bank is now ready for use.

This product serves as a mobile spare battery and is suitable for charging the rechargeable
battery of a mobile device/smartphone or tablet computer. The built-in, permanently installed
rechargeable battery is charged via USB. The device has a charge status indicator with 4
LEDs. Furthermore, there is an integrated LED torch.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating

• Do not apply force when connecting the USB plugs. A USB plug fits in the USB
socket only on one of its sides.
