Selective Catalyst Reduction
A urea solution is injected into the exhaust stream to act as the catalyst for Slelective Catalyst Reduction (SCR).
This catalyst is stored in 18-liter (4.8 gallon) tank under the vehicle.
The catalyst is re fi lled by opening a cover located on the right side of the luggage compartment. It has a special
adapter so only certain fi ller bottles or adapters can be used.
