Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
Parking brake cables
Removing
^
Remove center console extension.
^
Release parking brake.
^
Loosen adjustment nut (arrow) until parking brake cable can be unhooked from compensator.
^
Raise vehicle.
^
Remove clip -1-.
^
Press brake lever -2- in direction of arrow and unhook brake cable -3-.
^
Unclip parking brake cable from retainer on rear axle (arrow -A-) and unhook from additional retainers (arrows).
