Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert

Introduction

In this section you'll find information about:

→ Using the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert

Depending on vehicle equipment, the vehicle may be equipped with

the Blind Spot Monitor system.

The Blind Spot Monitor assists the driver by using radar sensors to

monitor the traffic in the blind spot detection area as well as traffic

behind the vehicle.

The integrated Rear Traffic Alert system can help the driver when

backing out of parking spaces and when maneuvering.

The Blind Spot Monitor is only designed for use on paved roads.
