Lane Assist has been developed only for on-road driving.

 

If Lane Assist does not work properly and as described here or if there is a system

fault, have the system checked by an authorized Volkswagen dealer or authorized

Volkswagen Service Facility.

Display and indicator lights

In order to help maintain the proper function of Lane Assist:

Always keep the camera area in the front windshield free of
ice, dirt and snow.

Never cover the camera area.

Regularly check the windshield and especially the area of the
camera for damages.
