Removing
Note
The thermostat is located within the 4/2-way valve and cannot
be replaced individually.
– Drain coolant
– Remove alternator
– Remove any required coolant lines, coolant pipes, compo-
nents of the charge air system as well as electrical lines to
allow for removing 4/2-way valve.
– If necessary, remove throttle valve module -J338-
.
– If necessary, remove dipstick guide tube
