– Attach bearing saddle and screw in bolts -arrows- hand-tight.
– Remove locking pin -T40011- .
– Tighten bolts -arrows- for bearing saddle
– Install regulating valve
Further assembly is basically the reverse of the dismantling se‐
quence. In the process, note the following:
– Install timing chain cover (bottom)
– Install timing chain cover (top)
– Install tensioner for poly V-belt
.
– Fit engine guard, if available ⇒ Body, front; Rep. gr. 50 ; En‐
gine guard .

8 - Bearing mounting

9 - Intermediate shaft sprocket
❑ For balancer shaft.
❑ If bolt
has been loosened, intermediate shaft sprocket will need to be renewed.
