The

The
remote
control
operates
using
an
infrared
signal
that
is
transmitted
line

to
the
front
of
the
monitor.
Ensure
that
there
are
no

Verify
that
the

contain
adequate

to
power
the
remote
control
unit.
o
A
simple
test
for
this
is
to
use
a
digital
camera
such
as
a
mobile
phone
camera
to
check
for
the
emitted
IR
signal.
Turn
on
the
camera,
point
the
remote
control
into
it,
and
verify
that
a
light
shows
in
the
image
on
the
camera’s
screen.
While
this
works
for
most
cameras,
some
cameras
may
not
be
sensitive
to
infrared
light.
The
battery
may
also
be
checked
with
a
voltmeter
or
multimeter
if
this
is
available.
