対物・接眼レンズキャップをとります。
眼幅調整を行うため、
両目でのぞきながら、
ボディを静かに開閉します。左右の視野が
重なって一つの円になったら止めます。眼
幅調整は、できるだけ遠くのものを見て行
ってください。

眼幅調整とは
眼幅調整とは、接眼部の間隔をご自分の目
の間隔に合わせることです。眼幅が合って
いないと、使っているうちに目が疲れる場
合があります。

三脚取付について
アスコットSW10×50は、
ビノホルダーH
（別売）
を使用することにより、カメラ三脚に取り
付けて使用できます。
双眼鏡の三脚取付ネジ穴にビノホルダーＨ
の固定ネジをねじ込み固定します。
ビノホル
ダーHをカメラ三脚の雲台に取り付けます。

キャップを回して取り外すとネジ穴があ
ります。
視度調整を行います。左側の接眼レンズを
左目でのぞきながら、
「ピント合わせリング」
を回します。目標物に正しくピントが合っ
たら止めます。できるだけ遠くのものを見
て行ってください。

次に、
右目で右側の接眼レンズをのぞきなが
ら、
「視度調整リング」を回します。同じ目標
物に正しくピントが合ったらとめます。

このとき「視度調整リング」の視度目盛り
を覚えておきますと、次回に使用するとき
の視度調整が簡単です。
「視度調整リング」
の目盛りを合わせるだけで済みます。
視度調整後、目標物を変えて見るときは、
「ピ
ント合わせリング」
のみを回して、
ピントを合
わせます。

ケースに収納の際は、
繰り出した目当て部分
をもとに戻してください。
視度調整とは
左目と右目とでは、視力が違う場合があり
ます。その場合、
「左目はピントが合うが右
目ではピントが合わない」または、その逆
のことが起こります。
こうしたことを防ぎ、
左目と右目の視力のバランスをとるのが

Select a distant object and adjust the
left eye focus by turning the center
focus knob. (Diagram 2)
Next, adjust the right eye focus by
turning the diopter ring while looking
at the same object. The diopter ring
compensates for the difference in the
left and right eye vision. (Diagram 3)
Once both eyes are focused, you can
adjust the focus for both eyes
simultaneously when looking at
different objects by using only the
center focus knob. Remembering the
setting on the diopter scale will let
you set the diopter ring immediately
without going through the above
procedure every time you use the
binoculars. (Diagram 4)
Retract the sliding eyecups before
storing the binoculars in its case.

Remove the objective lens caps .
Look through the binoculars with
both eyes and adjust the eyepiece
separation by opening or closing
the body angle so that the view
through the binoculars appears as
a single circle. (Diagram 1)

Using a Tripod
:
ASCOT SW 10
×
50 can be attached to a
tripod by using the optionally
available Tripod Adapter-H.
Remove the cap on the end of the
center shaft to expose the tripod
adapter socket. Screw on the Tripod
Adapter-H to the tripod adapter
socket and attach the tripod adapter to
a tripod. (Diagram 5)
Attach the supplied
strap to the hook as
illustrated.

Note
: some models
come wiht straps
that do not have a
loop piece to hold
down the loose end.
